AGRI FOOD - THE RICE

The rice fields, green in spring and gold in summer, give colour and contrast to the scenery of the Ebro Delta. The crop of this cereal is one of the most important agricultural activities in the final stretch of the Ebro River. The rice has been one of the fundamental pillars of the economy as well as the culture and the gastronomy of the Delta. A seafaring frying pan, soups, rice and chickpeas, potatoes and cod are some of the typical dishes that satisfy any dinner guest.
